NOV Mono is investing more than £20 million in the project. The new site has 31 500 sq m of floor space, with room for further expansion.
Paul Naylon, NOV Mono group managing director, said that the relocation had been prompted by the fact that they had outgrown their existing premises and needed extra capacity.
“This move will allow us to invest in new manufacturing plant and equipment, and also give us the space we need to serve the growing demand and provide increased levels of service to our customers both here in the UK, and overseas,” said Naylon.
NOV Mono’s roots in the Manchester area go back to 1865.
“This is an exciting development and it represents a great vote of confidence in the tremendous workforce that we have,” added Naylon.
