The pump can operate equally well in either direction, making it suitable for applications such as draining and filling engine oil sumps, and bi-directional fuel transfer between tanks.
The pump’s oil flow can be throttled from 9 gpm to zero, reducing the need for costly motor speed controls, the company says. It comes with a 3-phase 208/230 VAC motor and the Daisy pump and motor are completely sealed for wash-down and wet environments. There is no shaft seal to wear out, generate heat or introduce safety concerns such as fuel or oil leaks.
