Packo launches new energy saving pump

Packo Pumps says its MCP3/250-315 combine energy efficiency with low noise, compact dimensions and easy maintenance.

Manufactured from cast stainless steel, it delivers a flow up to 1250 m³/h at a head of approximately 18 m.

It can be used for wine and fruit juice filtration, mash and wort transfer in brewing and beer filtration. Other applications include the dairy industry for the filtration of process water and whey.

The pump can be supplied with power of up to 132 kW with six and eight pole motors. In the near future Packo intends to ramp up power levels to 250 kW.

The MCP3/250-315 will be showcased at the CFIA Rennes trade show in France from March 10-12 and the Anuga Foodtec in Cologne, Germany from March 24-27.
