The modular drive was specially developed for motor control in hydraulic applications. It is also suitable to use in variable-speed hydraulic pump systems, such as the company’s Drive Controlled Pump (DCP).

The AC20F is a versatile drive controller available in power levels ranging from 1.5 kW to 180 kW, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Despite its compact size, it comes with integrated features like sensor-less vector mode for AC induction motor control and condition monitoring for hydraulic power units, detecting oil level, temperature, and filter condition, issuing warnings or stopping the application when needed.

Specifically designed for Parker's variable-speed hydraulic drive solution, the AC20F offers four operating modes: flow control (Q), pressure (P), combined PQ mode, and electronic load-compensated pump (eLCP) mode. It enables the combination of throttle valve dynamics with energy-efficient Drive Controlled Pump operation.

The drive's functionality can be expanded with optional modules, including I/O option cards and encoder feedback for closed-loop vector control. Moreover, it supports various fieldbus communication standards like CANopen, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT, and EtherNet/IP.

Parker's Drive System Explorer (DSELite) configuration software simplifies setup with block programming and an intuitive interface. This makes the AC20F ideal for OEM machine builders seeking a compact, cost-effective, and user-friendly hydraulic drive without sacrificing performance.
