The company says this investment significantly increases efficiency and flexibility in the production of wastewater pumps and secures its location in Steinhagen for the long term.

The winding machine plays a fundamental role in the Steinhagen pump manufacturer’s production. The motor windings are the heart of the pump motors and the manufacture of these components is a complex and crucial step in the production process. The new system offers maximum precision and ensures the high quality of the products. It also reduces the production time for the windings by 10–20%. In addition, the modular design of the system allows the product range to be expanded in order to respond to future requirements.

Two robots and a portal system with a magnetic gripper now take over physically demanding tasks such as inserting heavy metal sheet packages, relieving the strain on employees. This ensures an ergonomic working environment.
