Sundyne appoints new VP of Global Aftermarket Services

Adolfo Gomez has joined pump and compressor manufacturer Sundyne as vice president of Global Aftermarket Services.

Gomez will lead Sundyne’s commercial aftermarket business and team, working closely with channel partners and authorized service centers to proactively support customers and grow the aftermarket business.

He has more than 20 years of industrial experience working at companies including General Motors, Chevron Texaco and Cummins Inc. Proficient in multiple languages, Gomez has extensive international experience in the oil & gas, marine, automotive, mining, construction and agriculture markets throughout North America, South America, the Caribbean and Asia.

“Adolfo started his career as a fluids mechanical engineer, designing and developing industrial equipment. He has accumulated extensive sales experience, and he has a proven track record for developing market strategies, increasing market share, and leading high-performing teams,” said Sundyne’s CEO Mary Zappone. “I’m looking forward to working with Adolfo to enhance the aftermarket experience for Sundyne’s customers and channel partners.”

Gomez earned an MBA from Columbia Business School. He also has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from La Universidad Del Zulia in Venezuela. He will be based out of Maryland, and he will report directly to Zappone.
