As Burton Albion tunnel sponsors, Wilo’s logo and design will be seen throughout the season as players walk onto the pitch at the Pirelli Stadium.

Wilo UK is based just down the road from the Burton Albion’s ground in Burton-upon-Trent.

Known as the Brewers, Burton Albion were a non-League club until 2009. They were promoted to the Championship, the second tier of English football, in 2016. Burton Albion are managed by Nigel Clough, son of football legend Brian Clough.

Richard Harden, Wilo’s UK managing director, said: “We are delighted to be associated with the club. Its passion for community engagement and strength of determination during the past season are an example for businesses and football clubs alike. We wish the Brewers all the best in the coming season.”

Fleur Robinson, Burton Albion commercial director, said: “We are delighted to be working with a well-respected company like Wilo whose UK base is located locally in Burton and who share our community values. Wilo’s branding will look great in our tunnel area and I am sure this is the start of a long-term partnership between the company and Burton Albion.”
