Xylem has introduced its Bell & Gossett series e-90 in-line centrifugal pump, designed for the commercial HVAC market. The company made the announcement at the 2013 AHR Expo in Dallas. The compact e-90 can be mounted either vertically or horizontally and requires no coupler alignment. The pump also features a vacuum cast bronze impeller and a silicon-carbide mechanical seal designed to operate in demanding environments. The e-90 is available in eight sizes providing wide hydraulic coverage up to 300 GPM flow. This pump uses an industry standard 56J motor in 1/3 – 3 HP 4-pole speed and ½ - 5 HP 2-pole speed.
Additional features include :continuous duty 1/3 –1 HP motor 4-pole speed 50°C ambient (optional), available in bronze fitted or all bronze material construction, ASTM B584 bronze impeller and EPR/carbon/silicon carbide mechanical seal.
