The F Series pumps have been certified by NSF for meeting ANSI/NSF Standard 50 for swimming-pool circulation components. ANSI/NSF Standard 50 applies to all components and materials that are intended for use specifically for swimming pool, spa, or hot tub water circulation and treatment in both public and residential applications.
Features of the F Series pump include bronze shaft sleeves which protect from abrasion; cast-iron casings; a single-piece enclosed bronze impeller which is keyed to the shaft; bronze wear rings that are pressed into the casing and standard carbon, ceramic, Buna-N and stainless-steel mechanical shaft seals with other seal material options available.
This construction gives the F Series pumps a high level of versatility, with pumping capacities up to 3,000 gpm and heads to 125 feet. The pumps are equipped with either close-coupled NEMA electric motors or they are frame-mounted with couplings to electric motors. They are flanged in accordance with ANSI B 16.1 standards for 125-psi pumping applications. These pumps can be mounted either horizontally or vertically, and the casing can be positioned in eight different locations throughout 360 degrees for versatility in installation. The pump's back-pullout design allows removal of the entire pump assembly, which eases maintenance.
