It's good to see that companies are pushing the boat out for themselves when it comes to celebrating growth and significant landmarks in their history.
UK company, SPP, did well to receive a return visit from Her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal who opened the company's manufacturing facility at Coleford, UK in 1987.
What is great, I think, is that SPP has used the occasion to announce some significant achievements, not only an increase of sales from £15 million in 1987 to £70 million in 2011 - a very creditable achievement, especially in the light of the current economic downturn - but also an ambtious £9 million expansion, which includes a £5 million test centre.
And that the UK's top PR ambassodors involved, cannot be a bad thing.
All-in-all a remarkable celebration.
