SPP Pumps expands in Dutch dewatering market

Verweij will be based near Rotterdam where he will support sales and distributors across Europe, and establish a sales presence in the Netherlands.

The SPP Pumps Dewatering division offers a range of vacuum-assisted dry self-priming pumps, developed to for rental organisations, contractors, utility companies, open cast mines and municipalities.

Explaining the company strategy behind the new appointment, Duncan Jackson, head of SPP Pumps Dewatering Division, said: “Holland has a lot of land that is below sea level so there is a market here that we want to focus on. Mark is an ideal fit to lead our sales strategy in Holland as he has great experience in the area.”
