Walker is currently president of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area.
“Andrew is a broad and experienced leader with a successful background in global and local management of both equipment and service business lines,” said Ronnie Leten, CEO and president of the Atlas Copco Group.
“This will be valuable in his new mission to further develop the Construction Technique business area.”
Walker, who has a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from University College Dublin, started his career with Atlas Copco in Ireland 1986. Since then, he has had management positions in a number of markets including the UK, Ireland, Belgium and the US. Walker will be based in Antwerp, Belgium.
Atlas Copco’s Construction Technique business area provides construction and demolition tools, portable compressors, pumps and generators, lighting towers and compaction and paving equipment.
