The QES generators by Atlas Copco come equipped with Qc series controllers that provide power with two clicks and take six seconds to be operational. With the models from 250 kVA upwards, it is possible to connect and deploy multiple generators in a modular power plant format if paralleling, load sharing or power export is required. The 250-500 kVA models are fitted with Volvo engines. The QES generators feature waterproof, corrosion-treated canopies that should repel all liquids, including heavy rainfall. They should be able to perform continuously for up to 500 hours in extreme high (+50°C maximum) and low (-25°C minimum) temperatures.
