In his new role, Karmarkar will manage engineering, research and development activities for all of Chesterton’s product lines.

A graduate of the College of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering - University of Akron, Ohio, Karmarkar has more than over 18 years of industrial experience and holds a number of US patents.
Before joining Chesterton, Karmarkar was principal engineer-chief engineering for GE in Erie, Pennsylvania. He has also held engineering roles at GE’s Digital Industrial Transportation business and at Akron Rubber Development Laboratory Inc.
