The new plant will supply 9.28 million gallons per day (MGD) (35 130 m3/day) of high quality drinking water.
Following complete assembly, preliminary testing and quality checks at Biwater’s fabrication facility, the four reverse osmosis units were each partially disassembled for transportation purposes.
Biwater AEWT is also supplying the pretreatment system, high pressure pumps, clean in place and flush systems, as well as complete PLC control and instrument panels which are scheduled to be delivered in March and April this year.
Start-up and commissioning of the plant is scheduled for August 2010.
