The ATEX conformity certificates state that K+ ATEX electric pumps can be used at an ambient/fluid temperature of up to 60ºC after Caprari assessment of the application and can be controlled by VSD following compliance with the conditions indicated in the operation and maintenance manual.
The extension of the Caprari K+ sewage motors range will involve tripling the capacity from 60 to 180 kW on pumps and extending the configuration to 60 Hz. The increase in performance range of the K+ sewage motors affords capacity values up to 800 l/s and dynamic head values of up to 65 m.
The motor of the K+ series is class F with class H double insulation windings and class T4 average temperature meaning ultra-cooled motors, long service life and high energy efficiency.
Applications of the Caprari K+ series of sewage motors include purification of civil and industrial waste water, lift in large-scale systems, reclamation, fish farming and disposal of meteoric water from rainwater tanks.
