CIRCOR International has recently released the Allweiler Optifix progressing cavity pump for industrial wastewater treatment applications, which improves mean time to repair.
The pump can be disassembled in five steps, and there is no need to dismantle it from piping to change the rotor, stator, joints or shaft seal, for simpler and faster maintenance.
It has a specially-designed dismounting device which allows the removal of the rotor and stator with the discharge and suction casings in place.
Designed for speed and efficiency, OptiFix’s easy exchange design is optimised for safe and streamlined inspections, parts removal and service operations. The company says that, in wastewater treatment service, OptiFix can reduce mean time to repair intervals by as much as 85% and boost pump service life by up to 500% when combined with CIRCOR’s patented Alldur stator solution.
Other OptiFix features include a leak-resistant ATLS-T1V sensor to detect dry-running conditions before they cause damage, a zero-play stub shaft connection, an optimised heat transition from the stator elastomer to the sensor sleeve and high-quality joint construction.
