Acknowledging the outstanding contributions and achievements of IWA members and water sector professionals generally worldwide, the IWA Awards celebrate excellence in water science and management.
The awards will be presented at the upcoming IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition, taking place on 11–15 August 2024 in Toronto, Canada.
"The IWA Awards serve as a testament to the remarkable individuals shaping the future of the water sector,” said IWA Executive Director Kala Vairavamoorthy. “It's an opportunity to recognise their dedication, innovation, and leadership that propel us towards a water-wise future."
The IWA Awards draw attention to the broad range of excellence, leadership, and innovation that IWA members and others bring to both the Association and the sector at large.
Nominations are sought from IWA members for:
- The IWA Global Water Award
- The IWA Gender Diversity and Water Award
- The IWA Young Leadership Award, and
- The Member Honours programme.
Dr Vairavamoorthy added: "We encourage IWA members to actively participate in this call for nominations, to identify the trailblazers who are making a significant impact and celebrate excellence, leadership, and innovation."
The nomination deadline is 25 February 2024.
