Lutz Holding celebrates its 70th anniversary with Oktoberfest

To mark the 70th anniversary of the Lutz Holding family business, employees from 16 sales and production sites around the world came together in Wertheim, Germany for an Oktoberfest to celebrate what has been achieved and raise a glass to the future.

Heinz Lutz, managing director of the second-generation fluid specialist, personally welcomed the guests on 11 October in an Oktoberfest tent at the company premises in Wertheim. He emphasised the importance of joint exchange across national borders.

"Our employees are the heart of our company," said Heinz Lutz. "The Oktoberfest, which is now taking place for the third time and slowly becoming a tradition, is our way of thanking our employees for their tireless commitment and passion. Our successes would not be possible without them. This celebration is an expression of our appreciation and offers the opportunity to celebrate together away from the daily work routine and to honour our successes."

In true Munich Oktoberfest style, Lutz tapped the beer keg and got the festivities underway.

Another highlight of the Oktoberfest in Wertheim was the planting of a Ginkgo tree, which the employees gave to the Lutz family as a symbol of the strength and loyalty of the company.

“The Ginkgo is considered one of the most robust and oldest tree species in the world, with specimens that live to be over 1000 years old,” said Claudia Gross, Head of Marketing & Communications at Lutz. "We hope that the tree will become a symbol for all employees of their long-standing loyalty to the company."
