Q.E.D. Environmental Systems, Inc revolutionized landfill pumping with the release of the AutoPump AP4 High Temperature Ultra pump, which increased the time between pump cleaning in even the most difficult wells.
The pump has increased clearance between the float and discharge tube (three times the clearance of the previous version), as well as increased clearance between the float and outer casing.
The AP4 High Temperature Ultra pump includes materials to deliver pumping performance in high-temperature landfill leachate, condensate risers and groundwater remediation wells. Proprietary non-stick finishes and electropolished surfaces in the new AP4 High Temperature Ultra pump reduce solids buildup, which should increase the runtime interval and make it much faster and easier to clean. As a result, users experience longer run times, reduced maintenance costs, increased safety of service personnel and a boost in project productivity.
