Sundyne has expanded its office in Pune, India to support the business’s rapid growth.
The Indian office was initially established to serve the local market and to provide engineering support for Sundyne’s Arvada, USA, Dijon, France, HMD, UK and Marelli, Spain operations.
The Indian team provides a range of engineering, documentation and support services including product development, hydraulic design, CFD, CAE, application engineering, technical documentation, order engineering and instrumentation engineering for Sundyne’s pumps and compressors.
Over the last year, collaboration between the Indian office and other Sundyne locations has grown exponentially, which has prompted the need to expand the office.
“Sundyne’s business is growing rapidly in India and throughout the globe, and in response to this, we’re aggressively hiring to expand our skill sets and capabilities,” said Raghavendra Kulkarni, Sundyne’s general manager for India. “We’re proud of the talent we’ve added and we look forward to continued growth in the years ahead.”
Newly added staff and the overall increase in the size and scope of the Indian office will speed up delivery to both domestic and international customers.
“India is a strategic region for Sundyne because the local & regional economies are growing rapidly in the energy, chemical & petrochemical and industrial markets – and each market plays well to Sundyne’s strengths,” said Mark Sefcik, president of the Sundyne Products business unit. “Our expanded staff in the region will not only work to serve these local opportunities, but they’ll also bolster Sundyne’s engineering & supply chain support for customers around the globe.”
Sundyne, which manufactures centrifugal pumps and compressors for chemical, petrochemical, hydrocarbon, hydrogen, pharmaceutical, power generation and industrial applications, is headquartered in Arvada, Colorado with operations and presence in Europe, the Middle East, India, Asia, Japan and China.
