An electrical and software engineer, Dabir has had Internet of Things (IoT) leadership roles with Intel Corp and Cisco Systems Inc.
During a 13-year career with Cisco, she held a number of senior posts, including vice president and general manager of IoT Applications. She moved to Intel in 2014 as vice president and general manager of its IoT Applications Ready Platform Group.
Dabir will join Weir in March 2017.
