Part of the Wilo IT infrastructure, the tool offers the same functionality as ChatGPT.
Around 200 employees are currently testing the new chatbot and it will soon be available to the entire Wilo workforce for their everyday work.
“Artificial intelligence is a reflection of the digital transformation of our world. We are convinced that AI offers numerous opportunities because it will help to solve the challenges associated with global megatrends,” says Oliver Hermes, president & CEO of the Wilo Group. “Wilo is leading the way as a digital pioneer in the industry. The launch of WiloGPT proves that once again.”
“I am pleased that with WiloGPT we have created an application that adds tangible value to the everyday work of our colleagues and at the same time meets our high IT security and data protection requirements,” adds Mathias Weyers, who is responsible for Group Information Management as a Member of the Wilo Executive Board and chief financial officer of the Wilo Group. This department is implementing the project together with the Wilo AI Competence Centre.
The approximately 200 test users are consulting the artificial intelligence up to 600 times per day. After the successful completion of the test phase, Wilo will gradually roll out the application across its entire production and sales network.
The technology group plans to develop the chatbot further with the help of Wilo-specific data. The AI will be trained with product data. “This then results in new use cases, for example in production or in service,” says Weyers.
