The recently updated version of the MGE-motors from Grundfos has the highest energy efficient attributes yet, including the frequency converter, which has made it possible for the motors to exceed the more common IE4 level, and reach the highest IE5 level in the defined efficiency classes for induction motors.
The MGE-motors are equipped with state-of-the-art intelligent components, which allow them to adapt to the system and reduce energy consumption. In addition, they have a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a high efficiency frequency converter. As a result, the IE5 level has been attained by all MGE-motors in the range from 0.75 to 11 kW.
