New Sensaphone Sentry system offers 24/7 monitoring for water and wastewater facilities

Sensaphone’s new Sentry system provides water and wastewater facility operators with a simple and affordable solution for around-the-clock equipment and critical condition monitoring.

The new system uses cellular  and cloud technology for a supervised internet connection that assures the device is online and monitoring conditions at all times. It tracks up to five environmental and equipment conditions in water and wastewater settings, including tank levels, power failures, pump status and temperature with a sensing range of -109 to 115 °F (-85 to 57 °C).

When the Sensaphone Sentry system detects an issue, it instantly sends alerts via phone, text or email over standard cellular networks. This proactive notification enables operators to quickly evaluate potential problems before they escalate into disruptive and costly malfunctions, helping to keep facilities, equipment and inventory safe from damage.

Users can access information and make system changes from any web-enabled device or a mobile app. The Sensaphone Sentry displays all readings in the cloud for easy viewing. This cloud-based technology also lets operators manage multiple devices from one account. No software is required, so installation, integration and management are easy. The device is housed in a durable aluminum casing and includes built-in power failure detection, a rechargeable backup battery and GPS location features.
