The new Sundyne China facility, which was brought online in Tianjin earlier this year, is now fully operational.
The pumps are being shipped to customers in China for chemical and refining applications.
“This represents a significant milestone in expanding Sundyne into refining and chemical processing plants in China,” said Sundyne president Jeff Wiemelt. “Sundyne has conducted business in China for decades; we are taking advantage of the explosive in-country growth by making significant investments in local infrastructure and sales.”
The Sundyne China facility is packaging pumps and compressors with local content. Core, highly-engineered pumps and compressors will be engineered and fabricated in the US and Europe, then packaged in the new facility for distribution solely in China.
