Hidrostal's A2U compact pumps are known for their reliability and versatility. The successor to the A2Q pumps offers an IP68 rated design that allows continuous operation in both dry and flooded installations.
The pumps can be customised with different speeds, mains voltages and construction materials. Both the performance of the pump and its pipe connections can be adapted to the customer's wishes. The first models are produced from robust grey cast iron and cover a power range of 0.5 - 1.6 kW.
Despite their robustness, the A2U compact pumps are light enough to be carried by a single person, weighing only 23 kg. The 50 mm large, free ball passage of the Hidrostal original screw centrifugal impeller ensures maximum operational safety and minimises maintenance. Blockages are therefore a thing of the past.
Equipped with two mechanical seals in tandem arrangement, the pumps provide a reliable seal against the pumped medium. High-quality elastomers made of NBR or FKM ensure a long service life. All components of the pump, from housing to ball bearings to long-life mechanical seals, have been designed for maximum operating life.
The A2U compact pumps offer versatile connection options such as thread, flange and Storz coupling, which can be mounted in the pump axis as well as 90° to it. Accessory variants enable optimal installation in vertical or horizontal alignment.
With a flow rate of up to 10 l/s and a delivery head of 10 m, the A2U compact pumps are extremely powerful. They will be certified for use in Ex zones 1 and 2 according to IECEx and ATEX.
