Zenit, which is based in San Cesario sul Panaro in the province of Modena, was founded at the end of the 1950s and had a 2023 consolidated turnover of over €40 million.
The company’s core business is the manufacture and distribution of electric submersible pumps for residential and industrial use.
Zenit and Tsurumi entered into a commercial partnership in 2018, later followed by a strategic agreement with capital participation.
The acquisition will not change the internal structure of the Modena-based group, but it will allow the company to continue investing in the research and development of innovative technologies, in the optimization and refurbishing of pre-existing structures, as well as in the implementation of new operational areas etc.
Zenit Group will continue to operate under its own brand name, maintaining its own brand identity and pursuing its own commercial and marketing strategy, defined in advance with Tsurumi.
At the same time, Tsurumi’s commercial power and technical know-how will allow Zenit to take important steps forward in terms of managerial growth, technical progress and commercial development.
