The new Cedarburg headquarters is now combined operations for Wilo USA, Weil Pump, Scot Pump and Wilo Machine Co in a single production site.
The grand opening brought together employees, customers and partners to celebrate the new facility and the 150th anniversary of parent company Wilo SE.
Speaking at the event, Jeff Plaster, CEO/managing director of Wilo USA, said: “We're excited to have you here today because we're celebrating two milestones for Wilo. The first one is Wilo’s 150th anniversary. To have a company [with a history] like Wilo, who really believes in supporting the community where we build our products, really believes in caring for the employees that make our products, and really believes in sustainability and making sure that we are good stewards to the environment. These are all key characteristics that support our core values of Customer First, Respect & Continuous Improvement.”
“Opening this factory is an event full of joy and emotion. It is also a very important milestone for our successful business activities in the United States and in the region Americas, as we strive to be recognized as a real global player in the pump market,” said Mathias Weyers, chief financial officer of Germany’s Wilo SE. “The great loyalty of our customers and suppliers here in the US and the close and trusting relationships that have been formed over the years have been decisive factors in our investment decision.”
In 2017 Wilo acquired the assets of Cedarburg-based manufacturers Weil Pump, Scot Pump and Karak Machine Co in 2017, followed by the 2019 asset acquisition of American-Marsh Pumps. Last year, Wilo also acquired the assets of QuantumFlo Inc.
