Plad also offers pump repair and machining services.

“We are happy to officially announce that we have completed this acquisition,” said Oliver Hermes, president and CEO of the Wilo Group. “It is another important milestone in the execution of our growth strategy, following the successful acquisition and integration of the Cedarburg pump manufacturers Weil Pump and Scot Pump, of American-Marsh Pumps and of Quantum Flo.”

“With this acquisition, Plad is strengthening Wilo‘s regional presence to meet local customer needs with locally manufactured products,“ explained Jeff Plaster, CEO and senior vice president of Region North America of Wilo USA LLC. “The acquisition of Plad strengthens our strategic market position in Canada and enables us to capture market share in fast-growing sectors such as prepackaged systems and irrigation.”

Stephane Miron, president of Plad, added: “We are very excited to become part of the Wilo family. Our goal is to demonstrate our product expertise we gained from serving our markets since 1959.”

“To have Plad Equipment join the Wilo Group is an exceptional opportunity for our region”, said Steffen Werner, managing director of Wilo Canada. “Their experience and expertise align extremely well with our organisation and accelerate our strategy for long-term growth in Canada.”

Wilo's regional headquarters in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, USA combines operations of Wilo USA, Weil Pump, Scot Pump and Wilo Machine Co in a single production site. Wilo employs more than 500 people in the US and Canada. -
