According to PPE, there are many different chemical and process steps in the production and delivery of biofuels - from the manufacturing of pure ethanol and biodiesel through to its blending with conventional fuels and delivery to forecourts. This can present a challenge for conventional elastomer seal grades.
PPE's elastomer seals for biofuels can cope with low and high temperature performance and have an exceptionally low compression set for use with pump and valves. The biocompatible grades have wide chemical and steam resistance in order to meet the particular needs of users in chemical and biodiesel processing plants.
