Hermetic Pumpen’s modular line of canned motor pumps for the chemical and petrochemical industries, the V-Line, has now been improved to include new accessories and applications with aggressive media and lower fluid temperatures up to -50°C.
The introduction of new material combinations for plain bearings has broadened the range of applications, allowing the use of fluids with a temperature of -50 °C instead of -40 °C. In conjunction with modified bearing clearance, the V-Line is also suitable for pumping any type of potentially explosive refrigeration media.
Cast steel housings can now be combined with stainless steel impellers, for example in refineries. This allows V-Line pumps to now be used with aggressive media and with an option of a cast or stainless-steel flushing connection, V-Line pumps are now also available without the base plate.
As part of the product line expansion, the V-Line online configurator, the Hermetic Expert Tool, has undergone an extensive update. All new features have been integrated into the configuration tool to further improve the user experience. The comprehensive liquid database allows the selection of a chemical liquid with one click or by using a free text search.
