Products from ITT’s Goulds Pumps, i-alert, Bornemann, PRO Services, PumpSmart, and Habonim brands will be featured at booth 2935. ITT will present an interactive demonstration of a centrifugal pump operation featuring customized clear acrylic versions of the Goulds 3196 i-FRAME Process Centrifugal Pump. The 3196 pump is a high-performance chemical processing pump utilized by the chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper, primary metals, food and beverage and general industries to reduce repair costs and extend service life. In addition to the 3196 pump, the demonstration will feature i-alert condition monitoring solutions and PumpSmart PS220 Control Solutions. VFD operation, wireless vibration monitoring and analysis, pump operation, and troubleshooting will be featured through visualizations of fluid cavitation, system curve effects, and more.
“Seeing this pump operation in action will provide attendees with a view of the full scope of efficiency and reliability benefits of our trusted industrial pumps,” said Steven Shanley, ITT Southwest Regional Sales Manager. “We look forward to showcasing how our products helping manufacturers achieve a strong return on investment.”
Goulds Pumps Solutions Engineer Scott Shults will also lead an educational course at this year’s conference, titled “Know Your System Curves! All About Pump Curves, System Curves, Cavitation, and Reliability.” The course, designed for reliability/rotating equipment engineers and applications engineers, will focus on hydraulics and troubleshooting-reading pump curves, developing system curves, and understanding the effect of system curves on pump reliability and flow. Shults will draw on his real-world experience to provide examples about how to solve real end user reliability problems he has seen in the field. Attendees can experience the course on Monday, 19 August from 8:30 am to 5pm in room 362F.
Additional solutions that will be featured at the show include a Goulds VICR pump, a Goulds 3298 Chemical Process Pump, a Goulds 3410 Small Capacity Double Suction Pump, a Goulds 3600i API 610 (BB3) Pump, i-alert Monitoring Solutions and Bornemann SLH Series and Habonim valves.
