Siegel became managing director on 1 April 2024.
Everfield, which acquired the company in 2023, welcomes this decision and is actively involved in supporting Siegel with the resources and guidance to ensure a good and successful start.
In his previous role as project manager at VSX, Siegel supported major customers with the implementation of Spaix pump selection software and its integration.
Siegel joined VSX in 2007 after successfully completing his studies at TU Dresden. With his many years of professional experience, he is not only very familiar with the company's workflows and business processes, but he also has detailed knowledge of customer requirements and expectations.
Jens-Uwe Vogel has also been mentoring Siegel over the past months to ensure a seamless transition.
“Matthias brings a wealth of experience to his new position as managing director and has proven in recent months that he is up for the challenge,” said Jens-Uwe Vogel. “Not least because of his strong commitment to the future of the company, I have every confidence in him as CEO. He leads a team of highly qualified specialists at VSX who have been involved in the development of sizing and CPQ software for the pump industry for many years.”
"I am very pleased with the trust placed in me and highly motivated to continue to drive the company's development as managing director,” said Siegel. “On behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank Hanns-Henrik and Jens-Uwe Vogel for their work. VSX would not be where it is today without the vision and constant commitment of the two brothers, and their trust in the entire team. We wish them all the best for the future.”
Hanns-Henrik Vogel will now retire, while Jens-Uwe Vogel will continue to support the company as a consultant, ensuring a smooth management transition for the benefit of VSX’s customers. He will also continue to support the company with his wealth of experience in pump technology in the various areas of sales, product development, and customer support.
